Thanksgiving Luncheon Sign Up

If your family wishes to join you on Thanksgiving during our luncheon Thanksgiving Day November 23, 2023 we are requesting you sign up in advance, *No later than November 15th, Two Guests Max Per Resident*

HOLIDAY MINI MARKET

Mark your calendar and come support our holiday market. It will be held in the lobby area of senior living on November 22, 2023 from 8:30 1:00 PM. Our residents are excited to be selling baked goods, holiday crafts and homemade soup. This event is open to residents and the community. This will support our activities department.


GOOD LUCK WISHES TO OUR VOLUNTEER

Melissa Handwork began volunteering here every Wednesday and one Saturday a month almost a year ago. We are sad that she now only going to be here one day a month but happy for to begin her career with Chrysalis Counseling services in Culpeper Virginia.


This young lady has been a great asset to the activity department with the many talents she has shared. Her outgoing personality and baking skills are one to many gifts she has shared with staff and residents. If you see her about facility wish her the best of luck .


Welcome

Annie Breeden came to live with us in September. She is a life time resident of Orange County, VA. She graduated from Orange County High School and furthered her education taking computer classes. She worked for the town of Orange as a payroll clerk for twenty years. Her hobbies are cooking, watching TV, sewing and embroidery. Her biggest accomplishment in life was simply helping her family any way she could. Let’s give her a home town Welcome!



Annabelle Aver joined the Dogwood family in September. She is a native of Columbia, Pennsylvania. Her life time occupation was being a seamstress. She has a daughter and son in law who lives’ local. She is proud of her accomplishments of traveling all over the world, but her favorite was touring Europe.


In her free time, she enjoyed cooking various Dutch dishes like shoe-fly pie a Pennsylvania tradition. She likes to go out to eat and try new restaurants. Stop by and let her share of stories of travel with you!
