Dogwood Village provides rehabilitation services for those needing specialized treatment for medical issues such as fractures, strokes, and heart disease. Our team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists is dedicated to rehabilitating seniors. All
rehabilitation services are conveniently delivered on-site at our fully-equipped Rehabilitation Therapy Center by licensed therapists. Our team creates a thorough care plan aimed at helping individuals regain their independence quickly and safely.
Physical Therapy
The physical therapist's primary role is to speed recovery by supporting the body’s inherent healing abilities. To achieve this, they assist residents in enhancing muscle strength and coordination, managing pain, and adapting to any physical limitations resulting from illness or injury.
Occupational Therapy
The occupational therapist will assist residents in adjusting to and overcoming any physical challenges that might hinder independent living. They will support residents in relearning essential daily living skills, including dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, and homemaking.
Additionally, the occupational therapist will supply any necessary adaptive aids to facilitate this process.
