Engage residents in board and card games (such as checkers, bridge, and bingo)
Spend one-on-one time visiting with residents
Accompany residents to the patio for outdoor visits
Assist residents with transportation to and from programs
Offer your skills as an art instructor
Operate a refreshment cart for residents
Shop for residents’ needs
Help with special programs and projects
Adopt a “grandparent” to remember with visits and notes
Organize a reminiscing program to share stories and experiences from the past century
Entertain residents with your musical abilities
