“My dad, Calvin J. Gingrich—a World War II and Korean War Veteran—was cared for at Dogwood Village until his final hospitalization. During his nearly three months there, the staff provided exceptional medical care, therapy, and personal support with dignity, respect, and compassion. The activities team made every effort to include him, and he quickly felt like part of the Dogwood family.  Although he never wanted to be in a facility, within days he told me he wanted to stay, saying, ‘Everyone here is so compassionate, helpful, and caring. This is where I need to be.’ Dad wanted to give back to those who cared for him. This donation to Dogwood Village is his way of saying thank you for making his last days the best they could be.”
