POSITION SUMMARY
-
Responsible for planning, organizing, and developing a plan to ensure the overall operation of the facility complying with all applicable current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility and that the business is conducted in an ethical manner.

Assists with development of, and reviews all, facility policies and procedures to ensure compliance with above-mentioned standards and regulations.

Assists with duties and responsibilities of the Executive Director as needed or requested.

In conjunction with the governing Commission, Legal Counsel, and outside consultants and/or resources, plan, develop, organize, and implement the overall Safety Program.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field from an approved secondary institution preferred. (3-4 years equivalent experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree with demonstrated competencies).

Current, un-registered, valid licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Health Professions.
Experience:
-
Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term care or similar facility.

Knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing the operation of a nursing facility.

NURSE DAY SHIFT
Dogwood Village of Orange County Senior Living, the friendly, heartfelt family community of Orange, Virginia is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse. Full time hours will be 64 in the two-week period. Join our team of excellence providing the best care to our residents. Dogwood Village offers excellent benefits for full-time positions to include health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, paid annual leave earning 8 hours per pay period increasing with longevity, paid annual leave can be cashed out two times a year or can be contributed to the retirement plan. Offering free meals during the working hours, receiving gym discount with Anytime Fitness and discount at the local day care center. We offer an evening shift differential of $5.00, a night shift differential of $2.00 and a $5.00 weekend shift differential for all shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certifications:
