Our History
Dogwood Village has been a cornerstone of compassionate senior care in Orange County since 1970. Originally established by the County to meet the needs of a growing senior population, the facility began as a nursing home and has since evolved into a comprehensive senior living community offering Assisted Living, Health and Rehabilitation, and Long-Term Care. In response to this growth, the facility was renamed to better reflect the full scope of services provided.
Our dedicated team has gone beyond standard care to create a vibrant environment filled with respect, joy, and meaningful engagement for over five decades. More than a senior living community, Dogwood Village is a family—a place where every resident can feel at home. Located in the heart of Orange, Virginia, Dogwood Village is proud to serve the surrounding community with compassionate, person-centered care.
