Blooming with Excellence: Nautica Rodriguez’s Journey

Nautica Rodriguez, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Dogwood Village is thrilled to honor the inspiring journey of Nautica Rodriguez, one of our latest Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Her commitment, empathy, and robust work ethic have brought her full circle in our community.

Originally from Maryland, Nautica began her healthcare journey at Homewood Retirement Center in 2023, where her passion for becoming a CNA first took root. She completed a six-week CNA program during that time, laying the foundation for her future in caregiving.

In December 2024, Nautica joined the Dogwood Village team in our Dietary Department while looking forward to an opportunity to step into a CNA role. During this time, she formed meaningful connections with residents and deepened her commitment to their care. Her favorite part of being a CNA is spending time with the residents—caring for them, helping them thrive, and building personal, heartfelt connections each day.

Nautica officially began her role as a CNA at the end of September and is now employed full-time in this position. She is enthusiastic about starting this new chapter and continuing to serve the Dogwood community in a fulfilling manner. As Nautica puts it, “The people make it worthwhile.”

We are thrilled to have Nautica Rodriguez step into this new position and honor her hard work, dedication, and steadfast commitment to the well-being of our residents!
