Resident Highlight: Carolyn Brookman
Carolyn Brookman came to live with us this month. She was born in Louisa VA. She was recently living in Gordonsville. She visits the Outer Banks North Carolina each Thanksgiving for a family vacation as its tradition. She was the manager at Bank of Virginia. Her and husband were married for 65 years. They have 3 beautiful children. She shared her greatest accomplishment in life, which was raising her children. Her hobbies are writing, playing piano, swimming and enjoying her family and friends. She managed to write a book “The Black Pelican” at the age of 70. Stop by and let her share it with you. She has been a past volunteer at Dogwood Health & Rehab.
“Dogwood Village has been a great resource for my husband, Rialand. Since he was admitted to the facility, staff have been wonderful while providing excellent care and rehabilitation services”. Veronica Tucker
