Hello August, it's a pleasure to meet you. A new month brings opportunities, laughter, and the chance to share love and kindness with one another. We are thrilled for your arrival, August, but let's first take a moment to review the month of July.

A Special Visit
We were privileged to host the County of Orange Fire and EMS–Firefighter 2 students at Dogwood Village! During their training on commercial fire suppression systems, they toured our facility, examined the sprinkler room, standpipe connections, and fire panels, and engaged in an insightful discussion on fire preparedness.
Although we hope their services won't be needed here, we are genuinely grateful for their commitment and effort in ensuring the safety of our community. Many thanks to Captain Mark Sikora, COFEMS, for assisting in coordinating this visit!!

Training Exercise in July
We appreciate everyone who took part in our training drill! A huge thank you to our incredible partners:
County of Orange Fire & EMS, Orange Volunteer Fire Company, County of Orange, Virginia - Local Government, Town of Orange Police, Orange County Sheriff's Office VA - Jason C. Smith, Sherriff, Northern Virginia Emergency Response System (NVERS), and Virginia Department of Health. Teamwork makes all the difference!

4th of July Festivities
As our residents prepared to enjoy the holiday weekend, we extend a special thank you to Brightside for organizing an incredible parade, the New Hope Baptist Youth for their outstanding performance, and to Elvis for visiting and bringing music to our halls.
