December Blood Drive

A huge thank you to the American Red Cross for coming to Dogwood Village and hosting an incredible blood drive! We’re also deeply grateful to our amazing Dogwood Village team and our community donors who stepped up to help save lives. Your generosity truly makes a difference!

A Heartfelt Donation from the Orange County 4-H Organization

A heartfelt thank you Rylyn and Charlie from the Orange County 4-H (VA) organization for donating these beautiful Christmas poinsettias! We absolutely love them, and they’re now brightening our entire facility. Your kindness means so much!

Arts, Crafts, and Games with Our Residents

Residents are diving into the holiday spirit! From festive crafts to the ornament grab game and writing heartfelt Christmas cards —we’re making memories all season long!

Celebrating the Holidays with Dominion Power

Thank you Dominion Power for a wonderful Christmas party! Our residents loved the snacks, goodie bags, and all the holiday cheer. Such a joyful time spent with great company! Your generosity and thoughtfulness made the season even brighter for everyone at Dogwood Village.

Celebrating Our Dedicated Dogwood Village Team

We were honored to host our Service Awards and celebrate the incredible Dogwood Village team. As we continue serving our community with care and compassion, we are truly grateful for each staff member and their years of dedicated service. A special thank you to our Health Commission Board members for your continued support, and to our Administrator for believing in us and standing behind our team. What a wonderful Dogwood Village family!

Residents Enjoy Holiday Nail Bar Hosted by OCHS Students

We are so grateful to the Orange County High School students for spending time with our residents and hosting a fabulous nail bar. Laughter, connection, and holiday-ready nails made for a perfect day! Their kindness and energy brought so much joy to everyone at Dogwood Village.

Celebrating the Joy of Christmas

What a wonderful time of year! We loved celebrating our Christmas luncheon with residents, family members, and our amazing staff. Thank you to our dining team for the delicious meal and to our Dogwood Village family and community friends for making our Angel Tree so special. Because of your generosity, every resident woke up to a gift on Christmas morning. We are truly grateful and full of cheer! So many pictures, so many memories—what an incredible time celebrating together. We’re excited and grateful to see what the new year brings!

Don't Miss Our January Events!

On January 8th, there will be a Hearing Aid Clinic in the Activity Room at 1:00 PM. Aging Together will host the Hidden Heart of Care presentation on January 14th in the Senior Living Community Room at 10:00 AM. Then, on January 21st at 9:00 AM, we’ll be hosting a Bake Sale in the front lobby of Health and Rehab—come out and enjoy some delicious treats.
