Mr. Glen Reid was born and raised in Barboursville, Virginia and attended Orange County schools. He spent six years in the Army/Air Force and returned to his hometown. He claims he is a jack of all trades as he has held a variety of jobs.
Glen has worked for the railroad, Virginia Metal, as a painter and a clerk at a truck stop. When asked which job was his favorite, he said he enjoyed all of his jobs especially since they were all different.
Glen is very social; he enjoys socializing and joking around with other residents and workers throughout the day. He enjoys listening to bluegrass music, watching the birds and squirrels out the window and weekly visits from Luke the therapy dog. Glen has been a resident at our facility since May 2015.
