Health & Rehab Resident Spotlight – Mr. Robert (Bobby) Turner
Mr. Robert (Bobby) Turner was born October 29, 1937 in Madison County, Virginia. He was born into a large family with ten brothers and sisters. He attended Madison County schools and later served in the United States Army.
Mr. Turner loves to talk about the years he worked as an orderly at the Orange County Nursing Home when the facility first opened. Mr. Turner has one daughter, Lisa, and one granddaughter that he is very proud of.
His family and friends visit with him several days a week and will often accompany him to Sunday worship services. Mr. Turner is a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years; he enjoys listening to music especially gospel hymns. Mr. Turner has been a resident at Dogwood Village of Orange County since April of 2016.
