Volunteer Spotlight – Fedie McClung

Dogwood Village would like to recognize Fedie McClung for her contributions to our facility. Fedie was born and raised in West Virginia and graduated from Shepherdstown High School.

She trained to be a registered nurse at Winchester Memorial Hospital in 1956. Fedie retired from her nursing career in 2003 at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.

She has three children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is expecting the arrival of a new great grandson in February.

Fedie lives in Orange, Virginia and is an active member of Orange Presbyterian Church. She has been a dedicated volunteer at Dogwood Village since 2007. She enjoys reading, listening to books on tape and loves to garden. She is pictured with Ms. Mildred Butts.
