Father's Day at Dogwood Village

This year, we marked Father's Day in a unique way due to the AC outage at Senior Living. We are grateful to our residents and family members who contributed to making this day both memorable and enjoyable. Their support and enthusiasm truly made the celebration special.

Dysphagia with Katie Weaver

We sincerely appreciate Katie for her outstanding efforts in raising awareness about Dysphagia, a condition that significantly impacts the ability to swallow and can lead to serious health complications if not properly managed. Her dedication to educating both staff and residents about the importance of recognizing and addressing Dysphagia is invaluable. We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to visit the front lobby to engage with this important topic and gain new insights. We truly value the dedication and support of our entire team, as it is this collaborative spirit that enables us to address the diverse health needs of our residents effectively. July Staff Spotlight: Cornelia Braxton

The residents at Dogwood Village cherish Cornelia for enhancing community life. She has worked as a Hairdresser and CNA for 35 years. Her warm smile and attentive nature, offers stylish haircuts and companionship, turning salon visits into joyful social interactions and moments of pampering that brighten residents' days. "What I love most about being here is the residents and staff. The laughter we share and the friendships I've made mean so much. Bringing a smile to someone's face truly makes my day. Dogwood Village is special because of the professionalism and teamwork. Everyone comes together to provide excellent care, making it a place full of compassion and connection."

Jane's Retirement Farewell Celebration

Come celebrate the remarkable career of Jane Plumb — a dedicated team member, caring caregiver, and cherished member of the Dogwood Village family.

Join us at Health and Rehab on July 2nd at 2:00 pm.

Jane’s impact has touched countless lives — residents, families, and staff alike. As she begins her next chapter with her husband George and their dog Buck, we come together to celebrate her legacy and say a heartfelt thank you.

Blood Drive at Dogwood Village

The American Red Cross event is scheduled for July 16th from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Senior Living. We invite you to participate and donate blood to support the community!
