Ms. Dorothy Mitchell was born in Natural Bridge, Virginia. She was born into a large family of twelve children, nine girls and four boys. Her family later moved to Farmville where she was raised and later met her husband, Clarence, a US Marine.
They were married 52 years and raised five children, three sons and two daughters. Dorothy is proud of her career; she worked in nursing home as a CNA and also as a private sitter. Dorothy said her children always kept her very busy but she has always loved to play bingo.
Dorothy is especially proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She has been a resident at our facility since February 2020.
