Ms. Helen Shoemaker was born in Charlottesville, VA and was raised in Greene County and Orange County. She has two children, one son and one daughter, three grandchildren and one new great grandson that she is very proud of.
Helen worked as a homemaker but shared with worker that her favorite job was when she worked at Pantry Chef, service station on route 15 in Orange. Helen enjoys attending church services; she is a member of Community Baptist Church in Gordonsville, playing bingo and attending musical programs. Helen has been a resident at Dogwood Village since February 2017.
