Ms. Joyce Ann Woodward was born in Charlottesville but lived her whole life in the beautiful mountains of Madison County, Virginia. Joyce was raised in a large family, one brother and four sisters.
She spent a great deal of her childhood helping her grandmother around the family farm. Joyce has worked hard her whole life and shares many memories of babysitting as a teen, working at Graves Mountain Lodge and cleaning houses for a living.
She is especially proud of her children, two girls, two boys and one granddaughter. Joyce loves all animals and has especially enjoyed spending time with the dogs that visit our facility on a weekly basis. Joyce also enjoys gardening, planting flowers and tomato plants during the summer months. Joyce has been a resident at our facility since June 2019.
