Resident Spotlight: Herbert Rankin


Herbert Rankin was born and lived 25 years in Berkley Springs, West Virginia. He has been living in Orange for over 50 years. He has a son Ronnie and two beautiful grandchildren. He is retired from Orange County School System.


He worked as a physical education teacher at Prospect Heights Middle School until his retirement. He graduated from Shepard College in Shepardstown, West Virginia. His favorite past time was hunting, fishing, and doing good old fashion yard work. During the interview he expressed his greatest life accomplishment is "simply living."


He describes himself as active and living his best life when he can be outside. Stop by and welcome him to Dogwood Senior Living.
