Mr. Donald Blankenship was born Virginia and has lived in around Charlottesville most of his life. He has worked in several grocery stores including Food King, IGA, Food lion and Harris Teeter. Donald enjoyed working in grocery stores; He especially enjoyed waiting on and helping the customers. Donald is a people person. He enjoys telling jokes, laughing and socializing with people throughout the day.
He also enjoys watching game shows, playing rummy, Bingo and watching baseball on television. His favorite team is the Baltimore Orioles. Donald also used to coach and umpire little league teams. Donald has been a resident at Dogwood Village Health & Rehab since May 2023.If you see Donald in the hallways be sure to tell him a joke or two!
