Our friend, Claudia Chisholm, affectionately known as C.C., is originally from Buckingham County, VA where she grew up with an older sister and younger brother. Claudia spent her days in Buckingham until she went to study at Longwood University.
During her college years she met her future husband Louis while attending a dance at Virginia Tech University. After marrying the couple went on to have two wonderful children, Brenda and Randy who in turn blessed them with three grandchildren. Louis and Claudia had a family-owned farm which ran a beef cattle operation.
Claudia assisted with running the farm while her husband traveled to Richmond each day for his job with Virginia Farm Bureau. One little known fact about Claudia is her co-authorship of a book titled, “Old Homes of Louisa County”. Mrs. Chisholm was a longtime member of the Elk Creek Church, DAR, and UDC. Nothing at all could slow her down. Though life has always kept her busy, nothing could ever compare to the love and dedication C.C. has given to her farm and family.
