Dogwood Village would like to recognize Betty Brown for her contributions to the facility.
Mrs. Brown has been a volunteer in the facility for many years and worked with the VFW Women’s Community Bingo as they planned this activity for the facility residents.
Betty married Dale Brown and the couple raised one son. Betty has two grandchildren and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
She worked at the Virginia Tech Research Center in Orange for 39 years. Betty is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and has a special interest in gardening. She is pictured taking care of flowers in the facility garden as she completes her rehabilitation in the facility.
