Volunteer Spotlight – Larry Lloyd

Dogwood Village would like to recognize Larry Lloyd who has been volunteering with Dogwood Village since 1991 when his mother was a resident in the facility. He was so impressed with the care that she received during her years at Dogwood Village, he wanted to give back by volunteering. Larry is a former Orange Town Police Officer and is a retired Dominion Energy employee. He is an active member and deacon at Orange Baptist Church. Also, he currently serves on the Orange Board of Directors of the American Heart Association and is a member of the Orange/Barboursville Masonic Lodges.

Larry is married to Julia and they have three children (Laura, Melissa and Joe) plus five grandchildren (Kayla, Cole, Alex, Brandon and Conner).

In his spare time, Larry enjoys spending time with family and friends, driving the OBC Activity Bus, RV Camping and working in his yard.

Larry is pictured with Mark Morriss, Executive Director of Dogwood Village of Orange County.
